Anant Chaturdashi,Ganesh Visarjan

 Anant Chaturdashi is a festival that falls on the fourteenth day of the waxing moon in the month of Bhadrapada. It is celebrated as the last day of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, and marks the immersion of the Ganesh idols in water bodies.

Anant Chaturdashi is also known as Anant Puja, and is dedicated to the worship of Ananta, a manifestation of Vishnu. Ananta is depicted as a serpent with a thousand heads, and is said to represent the infinite nature of Vishnu.

On Anant Chaturdashi, devotees worship Ananta by offering flowers, fruits, and sweets. They also tie a sacred thread called the Anant Sutra around their wrists. The Anant Sutra is believed to protect the wearer from harm and bring good luck.
